How You Can Help

Contact Mercy

Some people have asked to volunteer help but feel that counseling is not for them.  If you are considering how Christ could use you at Mercy, please consider any of these areas:
  • PRAY for the Center and our clients
  • Donation of supplies
  • Administrative or non-volunteer peer counseling work (on or off site)
  • Tax Deductable Contribution (pays for direct services, supplies, Bibles, facility expenses, etc.)
  • Support the BABY BOTTLE Program in your family or organization

PRAYER SUPPORT

The most important way you can help us is to provide prayer support.  Every single day we are presenting Christ's message of love, hope and salvation to each of our clients and family members who enter our doors.  Pray that God's will be done in each life we touch and in the lives of our volunteers and staff.

VOLUNTEERING

Our volunteers play a vital role in the everyday functions and successes of our Center.  Some of the areas in which we rely on our volunteers for support include:

Peer Counceling
Bilingual Support
Office Support
Parenting Training
Marketing
Fundraising
Clothes Closet Maintenance

BABY BOTTLE DONATIONS

Your family can help the work at Mercy by taking a baby bottle [yours or one of ours] and putting your “leftover” change in it each day until it is full and returning it to Mercy.  Mercy also gladly welcomes donations in the form of currency or checks in the bottles.

Many of our supporting churches run a Mercy Baby Bottle Program with their congregations.  We would welcome your starting such a program in your church if one does not exist.

Your tax-deductible donation will assist in providing individuals and families facing an unplanned pregnancy to receive biblically based volunteer peer counseling and support services including parenting education.
